(A quick note here, I've added these synopsis for people to go back and remind themselves about what happened or if people come in later and don't want to start at the beginning, they can read these really fast, but they are not a replacement for watching our videos as they are not full descriptions. If you don't want to video, you will miss most of the comedy and all of the fighting as I am not going to do a play by play of each attack. So, please check out our videos)
Day 27 6/14/2023
Episode 41
In the Village
Gwyneira gives Azazel the crown of Sypet before he leaves and she walks away. We spend two more days in the village. We choose a group name, The Shadow Opposition. The morning we wake up, Xander wakes up in a cold sweat after having a dream with Vulkus. Engraved as if by a knife on his left shoulder, is the symbol of her hammer. His dream was that she was carving the symbol into him. While Xander communes with Zerutan, Felix and Gwyneira head to town. Xander tells Zerutan about the symbol that is now carved on his arm. Zerutan says Vulkus is pissed. He isn’t strong enough to erase the mark, but he could brand Xander with his mark and it would stop her mark from completely controlling Xander and turn him into her minion. Xander agrees because he doesn’t want to be a minion. On Xander’s shoulder is searing pain, and he gets the symbol of a tree coming out of a book. It is actively glowing. Xander asks if something is gonna happen to his left arm with Vulkus’ symbol. Zerutan says his mark is probably strong enough to counteract it… unless she visits him again. Xander runs outside and follows the people moving toward Felix and Gwyneira. Hazel is chilling in the crowd.
The town has gathered. Xander joins us as Felix introduces the council/group name is the Shadow Opposition. Xander introduces Zerutan to the town. Felix says that we are looking for a representative to take notes while we’re gone as well as a group to explore the island while we are gone and salvage what they have. Gwyneira tells the people the island will be called the Isle of Zerutan. Felix says that Raya is building a dock and will hopefully bring more trade and refugees to the island. The town is called Zerutown. We head inside the tavern to meet with anyone wanting to be the representative of the town as well as anyone wanting to join the expedition to explore the island. The group disperses and a handful come to join the expedition.
Contract with the expedition: The Shadow Opposition gets the first pick of any finds and any item that has shadow magic. From the rest, we will pay the whole market value for what they find.
The items we don’t take will all go to a store to be sold.
We go to talk to Raya and she will happily leave her first mate, a male dark elf named Kathrun. We get ready and talk about what to do next, just to make sure with Vulkus’ mark on Xander that we want to still do this, and decide to still go down and fight the shadow figure in the underground city. We also invite Hazel to join us. We head toward the entrance to the city down below.
Underground City
We get back into the room, and swim down to the city. Xander starts to struggle and Gwyneira pushes him through with morph element. We stand at the time of the rise, the city cloaked in darkness. It has shrunk.
Gwyneira reaches out and touches the miasma. Gwyneira knows she doesn’t have issues going through the miasma, but Darwik ate it last time. This miasma is a lot more potent than the city in the sky. This is all part of the shadow being. As she starts to try to absorb it, it fights back. She absorbs a little bit before she notices her hand starting to get absorbed into the miasma. Gwyneira gets yanked into the miasma and starts to get attacked. Felix and Xander dart to help her, and Hazel follows along. Gwyneira and the shadow miasma continue to fight. Felix tries to run to get there and he faceplants. Gwyneira continues to fight back, and the shadow miasma retreats. The shadow coalesces back into the shadow being.
Episode 42
Underground City
We fight the shadow being. Hazel beats the boss and the miasma fades.

The Pillars of Sypetia has been canceled due to many reasons, namely the GM struggling with the plot and the players having problems getting into their characters, but there is good news. The story is not finished as we will be picking up where we left off in the Wrath of Sypetia with new characters/characters from the Apex Adventurers campaign, Mist and Kav. We will be posting new videos soon, so check those out.
