(A quick note here, I've added these synopsis for people to go back and remind themselves about what happened or if people come in later and don't want to start at the beginning, they can read these really fast, but they are not a replacement for watching our videos as they are not full descriptions. If you don't want to video, you will miss most of the comedy and all of the fighting as I am not going to do a play by play of each attack. So, please check out our videos)

Episode 39
The Island in the Sky: Vulkaria
Kav, standing with Voorhiz and Zerutan, hands both of them cheese for the beginning of battle. Kav asks Vulkus what kind of god she is, and she slams him in the face with a hammer. They fight. Down below, Gwyneira, Raya, and Idham continue to fend off the robots and attack the orb, until Felix, Xander, and Azazel join in the fight, and we continue. In his fight, Kav leaps high in the air, 500 ft, and Voorhiz runs up and kicks him in the back of the head to give him added speed. As he falls, his sword goes all the way through Vulkus and he continues through the ground, right through the orb, and all the way through the island to continue to fall to the island below. Voorhiz teleports to grab Kav as he falls, using a planar shift to teleport both of them to another existence.
The rest of us group up around where the orb used to be. We head back up. We are greeted by the sight of Zerutan standing over a split in half Vulkus, and a giant hole. Zerutan says that body is dead, but she herself is still alive. Zerutan drops Vulkus’ hammer through the hole in the island. We loot some other stuff from Vulkus’ body and Zerutan touches Xander on the head, dealing him a large amount of damage, killing him, but he also brings him back right away. Xander realizes that Vulkus was probably in his head for a very long time, since birth maybe, or even before as he finally notices his head is quiet. The island that we’re on begins to move at quite the quick pace. Zerutan wants to do two things for us before we get too far away. First, he thanks us for letting him survive, and as a thank you he says he’ll smite down the shadow from the water city for us.
On the Island
And he snaps and we are on the dais. We see a massive bolt of golden light streak out of the sky and hit the water in the direction of the water city. Xander says, “I was right,” and starts to head toward the village. Gwyn studies the anklet and knows that she doesn’t know what it is. We are all walking back to the village, with Xander and Felix fighting. Gwyneira puts the anklet on, and it shoots out pins into her leg and locks on. When we arrive in the village, everyone is standing in the assembly area. As we approach, we see a beautiful elder phoenix standing in the group. We all walk to the crowd. The crowd parts before us, and standing in front of the phoenix is a darker skinned woman with black hair, braided down to her knees, and her skin is covered in jewels. The jewels have been implanted into her skin. She is quite scantily clothed, dressed in essentially belly dancer garb with platinum and star crystals on her clothing. Her eyes fall on us, then to Gwyneira and she smiles. She flits across the grass, and she stops right in front of Gwyneira. She pulls Gwyneira in and kisses her before she draws back. This is Tamako, the woman that Gwyneira had befriended a long time ago and had been separated from. We head inside and the crowd disperses.
Hazel (new character from Owen), from a distance, sees a phoenix that she’s familiar with, and the person she knows to be the leader of the hex organization. She follows behind as we leave.
We head into the council house and Gwyneira and Tamako sit down on the floor. Felix leaves, and Xander goes, as well. Idham leaves as well. As they turn to head out, they realize there’s someone else in the room, too. We all see a blue tiefling, tiny thing, tattoos, she looks to be wearing travel clothes, her hands are adorned with rings, she’s wearing a circlet, nice boots, and a sack on her back. She’s just standing there, looking at the group. She says she’ll move out of the way, but Felix tells her to come outside. She says she wants to be a part of this conversation. Felix intimidates her to leave. She agrees with hesitation. Azazel chooses to stay, and Raya follows the others out. Felix heads to a bar, and Xander introduces himself and his brother to Hazel. Xander gestures to the tiefling to follow along, and she says her name is Hazel. They arrive at the bar. Idham did trail along behind the group headed to the bar, and Raya did, as well. Felix buys a round of drinks for everyone. Hazel asks how they did it, and when Xander asks for clarification, she says the council. Xander says Az did it, and Raya says that she got twelve and Azazel only got one. They talk. Xander asks why she’s here, and she says she escaped the stretch of mainland that isn’t inhabitable anymore.
Inside, Gwyneira and Tamako talk. Tamako tries to convince Gwyneira to help her against Delet, and Gwyneira begins to understand that Tamako is mostly there for Gwyneira’s shadow magic and not for her as a person. The rest of the group come back, and Gwyneira starts to scuffle with Tamako while Tamako tries to get Hazel to kill Azazel. Hazel attacks him. Azazel falls to his knees.
