(A quick note here, I've added these synopsis for people to go back and remind themselves about what happened or if people come in later and don't want to start at the beginning, they can read these really fast, but they are not a replacement for watching our videos as they are not full descriptions. If you don't want to video, you will miss most of the comedy and all of the fighting as I am not going to do a play by play of each attack. So, please check out our videos)
Day 3 11/1/23
Episode 3
Sypet
We find ourselves at the north entrance to the city of Sypet, furthest from the docks. Gwyneira reaches out with her magic to try to locate the pillar here, but there is shadow magic completely engulfing the city. She cannot pinpoint the location of the pillar. We do believe that destroying pillars elsewhere, the shadow energy here will likely be weaker and we may be more likely to be able to pinpoint the pillar more easily. We also realize that some of the pillars may be in Bouhmomia or Delet now, as Sypet lost some land in the recent war. We start heading toward an area where we may find a cartographer so we can figure out where Sypet used to end in order to figure out where the other pillars may be. We arrive at the bridge outside the city center.
From the arches above, Gwyneira notices a pair of red wings, red wings with metal tips on the bottom. They have been ripped from the back of Azazel, who she saw only a week ago. She also notices some pictures beneath the wings, one is a human in a very brightly colored outfit with a gaudy hat and a feather, with a metal arm, another is a elf/human looking being with a nice suit style outfit, another one is a big tall blue deva, the next is a tree, and the next is a blue haired woman. Kav also can tell eleven people are following us, but none of us can see them or sense them.
We keep moving, seeing if we can notice any of the people following us. We then find that we can’t use anything magical. Kav tries to move 40 feet back, but moves only 20 feet back to try to see if he can use magic to summon his weapon and gets hit. He looks around to see glowing threads interlaced around to block the path. This barrier slightly curves and leads Kav toward a building. We see people walking all around us, and they can pass through this barrier. Mist talks to one of the people to ask about a cartographer and he points Mist toward a section of the city to look in, and Gwyneira does a check on Az’s wings to see if they have any spell that might be causing this. Casper looks to see if he can see anything that might be causing this, a source of some kind. He doesn’t detect any and he can’t detect any arcane presence at all. Kav just walks into the house and keeps following the barrier. It curves around inside the house, and Kav finds it comes back out of the wall, but there is no door. He busts out of the wall and continues to follow the barrier. He follows the barrier back to the archway, and as he passes the archway where the bridge is, the barrier vanishes. The net does continue after the archway. Kav goes first, stepping onto the bridge. The other three can no longer see Kav. Kav is blind and his feet don’t feel like they’re on the ground anymore. Kav tries to move back and is unable. The rest of us hold hands, and step in. We see Kav, and nothing else. Kav twists and he can see us.
Gwyneira calls out and a voice calls back in hello. He says we are in a pocket dimension, and he is there to judge us, or at least Gwyneira for her part in killing the queen. She tries to argue back. Kav butts in to say that he and Mist killed the king before. The voice responds that he hadn’t known who killed the king since it was so well done, so he thanks Kav for letting him know who did the assassination. Casper knows of the Sypet judicial system and that it’s corrupt. He tells us that he’s judging us, to be sentenced for the next 46 million years to prison. A small light opens up and grows bigger and bigger. The orb peels away from around us and we are in the throne room of the palace of Sypetia. We are immobilized. Guards walk up to us and they take ankle biter, remove Kav’s gloves, and take all of our magical items. They take everything, stripping us bare. We are draped in burlap sacks with head and armholes, and we are levitated through the city, out the west. Kav asks his deity for assistance. His chest pulses twice and then it recedes. We are floated out the west gate, where we are surrounded by an entire army. We are floated out onto a longboat, where we are taken to an island nearby, one built like a fortress. We are now in a prison, and we are taken into separate cells, adjoining. We are each fitted with a silver collar, pair of bracelets, and anklets. The cells are relatively open, with a wooden cot, and steel bars are the door. Stone surrounds the other sides. The doors are closed, and we are left as the guards leave. We can now move.
Episode 4
Sypet Prison
Every minute we are in here, we take up 3 points of damage from the bracelets, anklets, and collar. We are brought into the cells. Mist tries to snarl in anger and passes out. Kav tries to go lay in the bed, and he does so before passing out. Casper tries to death stride and passes out. Gwyneira tries to test if magic works, she gets sparks, and then passes out. We wake up and the guard tells us it’s been a day and here’s food. Mist gets up to shuffle to his food, eats a bite, and passes out in his food. Casper tries to break his cuffs against the wall, but hits weakly and passes out. Gwyneira tries to figure out what these cuffs are, they are seamless and likely a high magic item, they are limiting us she can tell, and then she passes out. Kav just lays in the bed and keeps an eye on the door, seeing no guards. He just lays in the bed and uses his nail to try and break through it.
We get splashed with water and woken up on day three. Kav tries to cut through his arm, and passes out. Casper is able to carefully crawl to his food and eat it all. Mist calls out to see if anyone is there, and gets a response. This person has been here a while it seems and is badly injured and thinks they are dying. They either suggest just getting used to the pain, or just not moving. Gwyneira tries to figure out how to break these bonds, and passes out. Casper crawls back to the bed and passes out. Mist is able to get a mouthful of food, and is able to take a few more bites and then passes out. Water again. Gwyneira is able to get to her food and eat it. Casper tries to pray to the sparrow mother and he feels empty and alone. Gwyneira is able to become more conscious and tries to figure out the bracelets again, and passes out.
Gwyneira gets to talk with the man in the other room that Mist was talking to. She finds it is Azazel, but for some reason he is quite old. Gwyneira tries to push shadow magic through the collar, and takes a lot of damage, and dies, but Casper hears a bunch of faint tinks. Casper creates a crude curving stick and is able to poke the stick through the bars and poke Gwyneira through the bars while trying to use healing hands. Gwyneira is alive again and then she passes out. The next day, Gwyneira notices her collar to the side, split in half. Mist is able to get over to the door before passing out. Kav smashes apart the bed and then slips and smacks his head on the wall and passes out. Gwyneira turns into a mouse and makes it over to Casper’s cell. Gwyneira channels through the bracelets and shatters them before going down again. Casper uses healing hands and Gwyneira gasps, wakes up and passes out again. Casper blink steps into the next cell, or at least tries, and ends up in Gwyneira’s room, but in the process, he lands at a bad angle, and snaps his leg.
We get woken by the water the next morning. The guard says, “Welcome to day 300.”
