(A quick note here, I've added these synopsis for people to go back and remind themselves about what happened or if people come in later and don't want to start at the beginning, they can read these really fast, but they are not a replacement for watching our videos as they are not full descriptions. If you don't want to video, you will miss most of the comedy and all of the fighting as I am not going to do a play by play of each attack. So, please check out our videos)
Day 21 6/27/2023 Episodes 27 and 28
Episode 27
Omadano
Caleigh heads off to follow the hunch and the rest of us head to the nearest teleportation circle to head to the library. As we arrive, we are not in the library Abcde expected. It’s a small room, 25 ft x 25 ft, a boarded up window, and Brixert is standing in front of us. He greets us and we chat. We are in Brixert’s teleportation room. He tells us he hijacked the teleportation circle because he hadn’t heard from us in a while. He tells us to watch out for the big blue one. He sends us back and we find we are now in front of the library. Inside the library, it looks much smaller than we would anticipate. It's about 1000 sq ft, and two stories, but as we look, the hallways seem to stretch. There is likely some kind of spell that makes it easier to get where you are going. At this point, a large blue dragon spawn, worgen mix comes stumbling out from behind some stack. The dragon spawn says he was trying to find some information but hasn’t been able to. Abcde says they will help the dragon spawn find what he’s looking for and heads to the librarian’s desk. The librarian gives us some information about where to find the book for the blue dragon and where to meet some students. We go back to the blue dragon who says his name is Koda. Abcde goes to grab the book for him. He is given the book and we chat and Koda has lists of people to kill. Allerton is on the list, so is Count Cristo, as well as Krem, and that’s about it for a moment. We all agree to travel together. Rayvvin gives Koda a tattoo and we all decide to head down below.
We teleport down to the undercity. It’s dismal and a shanty town. It doesn’t look like Quetares, but it is definitely a poor working class area down here and lacking funds. We head to the store that Koda knows and it’s an odd looking building, a bit slanted. The sign says DM 2, Davork’s Magical Menagerie 2. We go in.
Episode 28
A white haired gnome comes bustling over to us. He asks what we need and we ask him to identify items for us. Rayvvin will give him a tattoo for his service as well as a silver from each of us. Rayvvin gave him 6 staffs and he says one is interesting and will hold three magical spells. Abcde hands over daggers. One is flaming, and another is fragile but also thunder bursting. He looks at the last two staffs, and one is something he hasn’t seen before. It’s a basket of feasts type of staff. It’s hard to say what will happen, you will likely want to use it on a table as it will not have a basket. The last is broken, he says. It’s a broom that will fly, but has to have the bottom to fly well, so we will need to add something. Abcde asks to trade an item for the immovable rod. He agrees and says the enchantments can’t be removed. Rayvvin asks if there is a signature, and he says there are three. It says Kazel, Sheltran, and Yesha, and one more, Zerutan. He takes a dagger and jumps up to grab the immovable rod. He grabs it and hangs before he figures it out and falls down, handing it to Abcde. Rayvvin gives him a tattoo on his butt of Koda with a cross over it. Koda bumps Rayvvin’s arm a few times to mess them up. Rayvvin finishes the tattoo and Davork waddles off.
We head to the Garlic Clove, a rundown inn. We head inside. Koda pays for a round of drinks. Rayvvin sniffs it. They find that it’s extremely alcoholic and probably rubbing alcohol. We get to a table and Rayvvin tries out the staff of the basket of feasts. They pound the staff down, and rocketing out of the top is food. We tell Koda what we have been up to. Koda hands the book to Abcde to look up the information for him over the night before we meet up with him the next day. Krystor is the name of Koda’s father. We head back to the portal, and the three of us head back up and Koda goes back to the Garlic Clove. We get back to the teleportation room and head back in. We head to a dorm and Abcde asks for a room. She says off the north commons, floor 17, room 136, bedroom 1. We head to the room. The common room shows that it’s a four room area. Room one is just the same as any other room. It’s a very small room.
We curl up and Abcde looks up Krystor. This dragon has been around and he is quite old, older than the turning of the world, older than the ruins. When looking at the end of Krystor’s story, they find nothing about his death, and that he’s on the edge of the Arillian Horde and Toruqia. We don’t know only one other dragon that has been around this long, the primalis lady up in the north who gave us the soup. Abcde tells us and then looks at the update, which says the last update was yesterday and then updates to the current time. We curl up and go to bed.
Koda goes to punch a guard in the face. He continues to go around to find the rest of the guards and punch them in the face. He then finds an alley and passes out.
Abcde is quite refreshed the next morning. Rayvvin is sore, and Chodrak is fine. Koda wakes up dripping in mud. Koda wanders around the streets for a while. Abcde grabs extra food and brings some back for Rayvvin. We go back to the portal to find Koda and he stops us with the book. He finally lets us and we go down. We head back to the Garlic Clove. Chodrak is able to see Koda. We tell him about his dad. He’s confused as he says his father is dead, he felt it when he lost the connection. Koda looks through the book. We decide to head back up to talk to the librarian and Koda activates a hat of many disguises to change his form. We head back up, show our papers, and head back to the library.
