Welcome to our new campaign, Ripped From the World: An Isekai Story. Our players are Jaimie, Lina who is Jaimie's twin, Liz who is our older sibling, and Carey who is Liz's partner, with Nate as our GM. For those who don't know, an Isekai is a category of anime where the characters get pulled from one world into another one. While this campaign is new and fresh, there will be names that may have been heard from other campaign. Sandrano and Artimious are ones, so please check out the Taba campaign/synopsis' to hear about him, and the War Against Heaven campaign synopsis to hear more about Artimious and Sandrano. This campaign takes place before The War Against Heaven. The links will be at the bottom. (A quick note here, I've added these synopsis for people to go back and remind themselves about what happened or if people come in later and don't want to start at the beginning, they can read these really fast, but they are not a replacement for watching our videos as they are not full descriptions. If you don't want to video, you will miss most of the comedy and all of the fighting as I am not going to do a play by play of each attack. So, please check out our videos)

Episode 1
Earth
We begin at someone’s house, playing a game of Card Against Humanity. We are just relaxing together after a long day of work, when strange things start happening. When River looks at the cards for the black card they played, they see that all of the cards are suddenly white. They blink in confusion and look at them again to see a language they don’t know. Then the lights go out. And suddenly we are all floating in the air. We can still see each other. River reaches out and touches Jake. River pokes Ari on the nose. Ari slaps Jake. In front of us we suddenly see a black card that pops us and starts spinning and spinning. In front of each of us, a white card card appears. Jake just grabs his card while Ari just stares at hers. Rowan grabs hers. We all stare at the cards. Suddenly, Ari can’t see us and we can’t see her. Jake’s card says, “unto you I bequeath this bracelet. You will know what it’s used for. He will speak to you. I will speak to you soon.” Then, Jake disappears. River tries to reach toward where he was, but Jake is gone. River’s card does not show words, but instead it shows the tarot for death. River disappears. Rowan lets go of her card, but it reappears in her hand again. Rowan’s card says, “Through other’s cruelty to you, you may now get your rage.” And then Rowan vanishes. Ari stares at her card and just decides to take it. It says on Ari’s, “You who have danced your way in life will now dance in another world,” and Ari disappears. We all feel the rush of air as suddenly we see the sky and realize we are plummeting toward the ground. We approach the ground rapidly.
Strange New World, Road
Suddenly, we stop suspended a few feet above the ground before we thump to the ground. As we look around, we see that it is daytime, and this world we are in looks very different from the world we left. The grass is purple, the mountains are bright green. As we let our gazes wander around, a wagon comes up the road and suddenly people run toward us, all wearing suits of armor. Jake looks down at himself and notices that he doesn’t look like the Jake he was on earth. In fact, we all look different than we used to. Jake looks like a monkey man with gray fur, River is a green person with long flowing hair, Ari has fox ears and a fox tail, and Rowan has pointed ears.
The soldiers are about 100 ft away. They don’t have their weapons up but they are in hand. The group stops about 50 ft away. One of the soldiers wearing slightly nicer armor steps forward. There are about ten of them overall. For some reason, Rowan is the only one who can understand them. The main soldier says he wants us to go back to the camp with him as they have translators that can talk to us. Jake wants food so we agree to go back, but Jake wants food now, so the soldier gives him some rations. We follow the guy, Cpt Laynar. He is the captain of one of his majesty’s troops, according to him. We arrive at the other 9 soldiers and they form a circle around us.
It takes about 45 minutes to get to the camp. About 30 wagons go past us as we walk, no full caravans or anything but there is a lot of traffic. The others on the road seem to stay well away from the troops with us though. The other travelers are all varied. The people who look our way appear fearful but others appear indifferent. River tries to read the aura of the soldiers we are with. They do not feel any hostility from the group towards us, but there is an overall menacing aura coming off of them. Rowan and Jake look at most of the soldiers around us and get this odd feeling that we could take them. As Rowan keeps an eye on the people walking past us, she notices someone with a fearful gaze, but their eyes look at the guards then us then the guards. They look at the guards with fear, us with pity, and again with fear. We see smoke in front of us and tents. We turn around and try to bolt, but the guards lower their spears. Jake grabs the man’s spear and pulls the soldier toward him. Jake pushes him but the guard stays upright. Rowan is able to shoulder check a guard and we book it through the opening. The guards are surprised, but then turn after us. River puts up a crystal wall, flinging their arms out instinctively, in between us and the guards. We get onto the road and flat out sprint. Ari looks for somewhere for us to get away.
She hears a wagon, and then sees it in front of us. Someone near the front is waving at us. It’s heading in our direction. The driver is humanoid with long black hair. As the wagon gets closer, we see that it is a male elf with blue scar-like lines along his face that appear cracked. He says, “Quick, get in the cart,” going through all the languages until we can all understand him. He slows as he approaches us, but doesn’t stop. We get in. Jake jumps and is just able to start pulling himself up, River jumps and misses, while Ari gracefully flips and lands in, and Rowan straight jumps into the cart. Rowan and Ari help Jake and River. Flipping through languages, the elf tells us to get under the tarp. We feel the cart slow down. This time he says only in each of our languages to stay quiet. We hear clanking of metal beside the cart. The driver reaches back and grabs the large sword with us. Six spears stab through the side of the cart. One nicks River, but none of the others touch us. The spears go back out. The hand pulls the really big sword out and the driver jumps off. We follow suit, grabbing weapons and jumping up to fight.
We fight the guards. Without too much trouble, we are able to finish them off. The driver looks around, nods at us and says, “Let’s get somewhere safe and then we’ll talk.” We climb back into the wagon. He drives away quite quickly and we head away.
