Our last mini that is a character for one of our campaigns is two mini's actually. Both of these minis are technically the same character played by the same person, here we Sterling and RAM. Sterling is an Awakened Automaton who has two personalities. Sterling is around most of the time and RAM comes out when we go into battle and Sterling rages. This is the mini we're using for Sterling. He is a little beat up and has some rust spots as well as being made of both wood and metal. We struggled a little to find a good mini to use for Sterling and the first two we bought actually ended up being quite large, golem sized. This is a different style and we actually had to super glue it into the base. But it looks nice. I like how it came out.
The wrench is kind of funny and though Sterling doesn't carry a wrench, it gives him a harmless feeling, which is sort of accurate. Sterling doesn't fight, he leaves all of that to RAM. If you can see, the eyes are painted black for this mini, again to show that he is not hostile.
And here we have RAM. He has red eyes to show his hostility as well as a weapon to use when he fights. When Sterling turns into RAM in game, he bulks up a bit and gets angry. Otherwise, he still looks the same, made of wood and metal with rust spots.
This mini is one we ended up on after looking for warforged mini figures online and we were finally able to find something that would fit what RAM would look like. We let Rhys decide which mini would be Sterling and which would be RAM. I hope you like how they turned out. Look forward to more minis to come, the next batch being more random hero type characters.
