She's so Shiny!

The next mini is our lovely little faerie, Everlee. Our Priest and main healer for our Thursday campaign, Everlee is a young faerie, only 7 years old! To be fair, faeries are considered adults after 8 years old. In the world of Runner's Fortune, faeries are size small as children, between birth and 8 years old. When they become adults, they grow to be medium sized like most beings. Everlee, being a juvenile faerie, is only 2'4". If you want to learn more about Everlee or see her in action, please watch our Library of Taba campaign.

Finding a mini figure for Everlee was also quite difficult. There aren't faeries in DnD or in Pathfinder as far as I know, so they don't make mini figures for them. This one is actually a Sprite and an enemy to fight as well as being male originally. It's small enough though that you can't tell gender so it could be a male or a female and thus worked for our purposes.

When Emily was asked what color wings she wanted for Everlee, she asked for pink and shiny if that could happen. I don't have a shiny pink paint, and in fact, I only have one pink bottle of paint, so I had to improvise (and I was determined to make it work). I used the pink and added a light layer of silver over the top to give it a shiny appearance. I think it turned out well, but I did decide to get a new paint called Fairy Dust that would work better for this in the future.

In the world of Runner's Fortune, faeries come from the Fae Land and love to create chaos. This doesn't fit Everlee's personality as she is sweet and doesn't want to hurt others. The Faeries are also a colorful race, similar to the Devas. They have bright colored skin and hair, making them stand out, just as they like it. Everlee has pink hair and blue skin.

This mini wasn't the easiest to paint because even though it's fairly simple, the mini itself is quite tiny. There was no way I could get facial features on there and the colors ended up quite basic as there just wasn't room for much more than I put on there. I hope you like how it turned out though, and check out Everlee in our Library of Taba videos.
