Hello and welcome to Neko-Maoh Games, our own little slice of the world. What is this strange thing called Neko-Maoh Games you ask? Well, I'm glad you asked. Put simply it's a company made by my husband, Nate Douglas, and myself, Jaimie Douglas. It's currently being run by the two of us for our tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG for those not in the know), Runner's Fortune. We plan on making other games in the future and expansions to Runner's Fortune that will all be included in the Neko-Maoh Games company. We also have GMs (game masters) who will be available to people to either run campaigns of our own system, or others, or to be a mentor for new GMs.
Now, what is Runner's Fortune? Put simply, it's a TTRPG that allows players to travel the world in a fantasy setting and have all kinds of adventure's and do all kinds of things that they couldn't do in the real world. Your character, a "Runner", will pick up jobs from their guilds in order to make money and run quests, or they can just do whatever they want in the world. That's what we do. The hope is to have this be something that is very inclusive as we aim to make this a fun game for anyone and everyone to enjoy. It's as simple as that.
The idea of Runner's Fortune is one we've been working non-stop on for a while now. Runner's Fortune started off years ago, as our creator, Nate Douglas, started homebrewing his own campaigns. Each time he started a campaign with a new group of players, he ended up doing more and more creating of his own until eventually, he realized he might as well make his own game with the amount of changes he had made. In the last year, we went from using a heavily modified version of popular TTRPG's and changed it to be a system all our own. This is how Runner's Fortune was born.
We are finally using the full system, playing two ongoing campaigns with two separate groups in hopes of spreading the word of our TTRPG, but also to share the ridiculous nature of our stories with friends, families, and TTRPG lovers alike. We hope anyone who is interested in watching will join us on our YouTube channel, Neko-Maoh Games, to enjoy our stories and live out these worlds with us. It's finally time for the streaming to begin, both of our campaigns finally starting their long awaited journeys.
